Система, при которой действует динамичная ценовая модель. Впервые такой способ электронной торговли был введен порталом Priceline.com, который опробовал эту методику на продаже авиабилетов. Логика, как и в обычном аукционе – если покупатель готов платить больше – зачем навязывать ему меньшую стандартную цену? Вовлечение в ценовую «игру» делает покупку более привлекательной. Еще более эффективен этот метод в сочетании с моделью групповой покупки (Group buying model), при которой жители глобальной сети, объединенные общей целью слетать на Майами, например, общаются между собой и совершают коллективную покупку по меньшей цене. Групповые скидки, конечно, уже далеко не новость для продаж в реальной реальности, но в виртуальной, учитывая, что людей с подобными общими интересами на целевом покупательском сайте много, и найти они (с помощью специальной строки поиска) могут друг друга запросто – это наиболее эффективно (пример см. на togetherwesave.com).
